Mrs. N. BOUCHART elected mayor in 2008, is the result of an alliance between the dissident left, apolitical, sensitivities and the center of the UMP. She succeeds former Communist Mayor Jacky Hénin, head of the municipality from 2000 to 2008 (Socialist-Communist List). The old name of the Urban Community: The Urban Community of Calaisis (CAC). Below, the old logo of the CAC replaced in March 2009. In both logos, there are the strong colors of Calaisis: yellow for the beach, blue sea, green for nature, the countryside.
